Saving Contacts
When someone messages you on WhatsApp, they appear in your Inbox. To save them as a CRM contact: 1. Open the chat in the Inbox. 2. In the right panel, fill in their Name. 3. Click Save to CRM. 4. You can then assign a Funnel Stage, add Tags, assign an Agent, and write Notes. You can also auto-save contacts using the Save Contact node in your automation flows.
Importing from Excel/CSV
1. Go to Dashboard β Contacts β Import (top right button). 2. Download the sample template to see the correct format. 3. Fill your spreadsheet with these columns: β’ phone (required) β International format without + (e.g. 923001234567) β’ name β Contact's full name β’ stage β Funnel stage name (must match exactly) β’ tags β Comma-separated tag names 4. Upload the .xlsx file. 5. Preview the import and click Confirm Import. Note: Duplicate phone numbers will be skipped automatically.
Tags & Funnel Stages
Tags categorize contacts for filtering and campaigns: β’ Create tags at Settings β Tags. β’ Add tags from the contact panel or during import. β’ Filter contacts by tag in the Contacts table. Funnel Stages track where a lead is in your sales pipeline: β’ Create stages at Settings β Funnels (e.g. New Lead β Contacted β Proposal Sent β Won β Lost). β’ Move contacts between stages from their profile. β’ Use the Condition node in flows to branch based on funnel stage.
Custom Fields
Add extra data fields to your contacts beyond the defaults: 1. Go to Settings β Custom Fields β Add Field. 2. Enter a field Label (shown in UI) and Key (used in flows, e.g. vehicle_model). 3. Choose a Type: Text, Number, or Date. 4. In flows, use the Save Contact node to populate custom fields via variables. 5. Custom fields appear in the contact's right panel in the Inbox.
